Before departure carefully check the accuracy of recording of all the basic information: Name, date of birth, period of validity of your passport, especially if it is new. According to the legislation of a number of states the term should end no earlier than six months after the entry into the country. You should make sure if information about your children is indorsed in your passport, if it’s correct and there are photos of the children (for those over six years). The document should not have damage, spots and extraneous records. While abroad, keep it with you, do not give it to anyone on deposit or as a pawn.
If for entering the country you need a visa, it should be made in advance. If to the destination point you come transit through the territory of the other states you should consult in advance at the travel agency or at the consular offices if in the countries that you intend to visit in passing there is need for transit visas, as well as the period of their validity.
